Hi! My name is Lia Goodwin and I am an accomplished violinist and current Violin Performance Major. I am based in Orange County, California, and love performing and playing music of all types! 

I first picked up the violin at age 8 and have been very attached to it ever since. I continued to perform in all of my school’s orchestras and basically any other music I could get my hands on. High school provided me a very enriching musical experience because of the diverse music I could play and the music options available to me.

I was also a member of my high school orchestra pitt, performing in musicals such as Les Miserables, Little Women, Newsies, and Kiss Me Kate. As a music student of 2 years, I’ve performed and been classically trained in violin music and performance, being involved in various masterclasses with world renowned violinists such as Professor Miroslav Hristov, Professor Areta Zhulla, Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus, Professor Charles Castleman, and Professor Oleh Krysa.
